A most important decision has been taken, one which with the benefit of hindsight, should have been taken a very long time ago. A marine surveyor has been appointed to carry out a detailed survey of the Cervia. The outcome of this could determine the ultimate fate of the vessel. Its worth remembering that the volunteers who number six in total, with some occasional visitors throughout the year, are, very senior gentlemen. two are in fact in their eighties. This being the case, many heavy duty things that need doing, are beyond our physical and financial capabilities. I will hopefully have the report by next month, and include it in the next newsletter.
