june newsletter ISSUE 49

A busy time of the year for the volunteers, we continue with our weekly chores, whilst pressing forward with new projects. Our new chippy has finished making the replacement port light surround and is about to start making the starboard one.
The first of the two lots of composite board which will be used to rebuild the bunker tops have been delivered.
A price for the new flying bridge dodger came in at £840.00, which was way to much for a volunteer organisation treasurer to handle, so plan b is to build one out of marine ply, which will cost around a third of a canvas one . So, lots going on, the weathers fine, and as always we have vacancies for more volunteers.
