After a long wait, the welding has finally been completed, courtesy of the Weld of Fabrication, st peters, broadstairs. We have new and repaired hand rails all around the boat deck, restored ladders to the flying bridge, and new and repaired hand rails up there as well. Two of our large air vents have also been restored.
The meeting with Burgess Marine, the new owners of number one slipway took place and was very positive. All part of the bigger plan to repair the hull.

The wheelhouse and surrounding areas have a fresh coat of paint, as have the davits and lifeboat cover. this month, weather permitting, we hope to paint the whole of the superstructure.
Finally a request, does anybody out there have any unwanted mast lights that came from steam tugs scrapped in the 60s and 70s. if so, we would be very pleased to give them a new home.
